Multiple screens – Hiding your screen from others

Screen capture of the Virtual DesktopThe other day at work, while walking by one of my colleague’s desk, I noticed that he quickly switched the application he was looking at to another application (hiding what he was doing).  On the way back to my desk, once again passing by my colleague, he again switched/minimized the application window he was viewing.  This time I caught a glimpse of what the application he had minimized.  It was his web browser.  What was the site he was viewing that didn’t want anyone to see?

Are Coupons Worth The Hassle?

How much can you really save with coupons?  Is it worth the hassle in using coupons?  Where can I find coupons?

Before I started using coupons, I had these same questions.  In past, I rarely clip coupons. When I did clip coupons, I would forget to use them so they would expire.  There were times where I would be in the store shopping for items that I needed, I knew I had coupons but unfortunately I had forgotten to bring the coupons with me.  What is even worse is when I would have the coupons in my pocket while at the store, pick up the items (items that I had coupons for), go to the register, get distracted, pay for my items, head home and half way home, realized I had forgotten to use the coupons I had.

For these reasons, I hated coupons.  I knew they would save me money but constantly remembering to use them was really frustrating for me.  I was not sure how much I could be saving with coupon or was it worth the hassle.  However, as I get older, I realize the importance of making money and watching how I spend it.  Continue Reading »

Where To Get P&G Coupons?

How to receive Proctor & Gamble couponsWhere do you usually get your coupons from?  If you are like most people, you probably found them in magazines, your weekly flyers, and sometimes in the store.  Sometimes the coupons are for items that you need and sometimes not.  I find coupons are a great way to help you save money when shopping, especially with everyday items such as grocery or household items.  The problem with coupons is that most of the time, you don’t have coupons for products you are looking for.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to select the coupons for products you want and actually need? Get Pampers Gifts To Grow Rewards Bonus Codes

Coupon codes for Pampers Gifts To Grow Rewards. Get coupon codes valued at 5 points, 10 points, 15 points, 20 points, 30 points and 50 points. Accummulate points to trade in for free gifts at Pampers Village. As a new father, I needed diapers for my baby.  I chose to use disposable diapers.  Disposable diapers are easier to buy; they can be found in grocery stores, pharmacies, Walmart, pretty much everywhere.  More importantly, cleanup is easy.  Just throw away the dirty diaper.  As any parent would know, having a baby means you need a lot of diapers and I mean a lot of diapers.

The Pampers Gifts to Grow rewards is a frequent buyer reward program where you are given points for purchases on qualified Pamper products. You then redeem your collected points for gifts (such as photo prints, toys, etc…), enter into sweepstakes, or donate to charities. For those that have babies and had also decided to use disposable diapers, this is a great way for you to get free products by doing what you normally do, buying and using disposable diapers.

How To Dispose Of Your Old Refrigerators/Freezers In UK?

I am happy to inform you that I had received my first question from a reader of this blog.  This reader had contacted me via the Contact Form asking for information on free fridge/freezer pick up in the Birkenhead, United Kingdom area.  I had never been anywhere in UK and really don’t know much of the country but I was determined to assist my new found friend from the UK.  Since this is the first time someone contacted me on this blog, I had to help out.  I sent her an email with 3 suggestions on getting more information regarding free pick up in the UK area.

In case others are interested, I am posting the suggestions I had provided to her on getting free refrigerator/freezer pick up in the UK area.  This list is a little more complete than what I originally sent her. Continue Reading »

Save money with the Shoppers Optimum Program

Today I will be going over with you the Shoppers Optimum Program. The Shoppers Optimum Program is Shoppers Drug Mart’s frequent buyer rewards program. My main reason in applying to the rewards program was really due to convenience. There was a Shoppers Drug Mart store just across from where I worked. I figured since I frequently buy stuff from there, I might as well join their rewards program and start collecting reward points. Continue Reading »

Save Money With Gas Price Prediction

Today I want to share with you on how to save money on gasoline. You are probably thinking that I am referring to tuning up your car, ensuring your tire pressure is optimal or changing your driving habits such as easing off the acceleration and breaks. Yes those tips are great but generally to see the savings, you typically will need to wait at least a week or two to see any real money saving difference. To see instant results, I like to introduce you to predicting gasoline prices, knowing gas prices today. Would you buy gasoline today if you some how you knew that the gasoline price for the next day will decrease? How about if the price increases? Knowing what tomorrow’s price today is great but how can you accurately predict tomorrow’s gasoline price? And just as important, how can you constantly predict gasoline prices accurately?
